Corrections
These are corrections to the (identical) first and second printings (recognized by the sequence of numbers 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 or 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 at the bottom of the copyright page). The corrections listed here have already been made to the third printing.
We are posting only changes that affect important facts or that clarify otherwise confusing parts of the text. Changes have been highlighted in the PDF documents (taken from the corrected third printing). Please pay particular attention to highlighted blocks consisting of several lines.
Also, note the inclusion of new or modified Glossary entries.
